Today was the prayer shower for Carleigh at Wilmington Church of the Nazarene and it was very thoughtful and beautifully put together. Thank you Pastor and Holly Batton for such a wonderful thing you did for all of our families. We will always remember it. And thank you Lindsey and Jarod for being the good friends you are to my kids, they are truly blessed to have you and live there close by so they have someone to lean on and confide in.
I just wanted to write something short and say that I DO NOT and NEVER WILL be offended by anyone that feels they just cannot attend any kind of service for Carleigh. We as a family certainly understand how hard it is and how hard it is going to be. We know the kind of sorrow that is going to be felt by everyone, friends and close family. We don't understand it ourselves and we have the sorrow and grief to bear too so we are not going to hold it against anyone who feels they just can't make it to any services for Carleigh. All we ask is that you keep us in your prayers for guidance, love, and understanding for the days that are to follow. And pray that we find the comfort in the hands of our loving Father.
The saying on Carleigh's cake at the shower said it all and brought a tear to my eye. It said,
"All of Gods Grace in One Little Face"
