3???????

My, oh, my........Where does the time go? Today is Carleigh's third birthday. Hard to believe that 3 years ago we were at the hospital hoping for her to alive at least so we could have some moments with her before her passing. Even though God didn't grant that request. We came away still loving her and feeling the pain of such love for a baby that brought us so much as a family. I still can recall those moments as if it was still happening today. I guess they will never be gone and that is OK, it is a part of me now, forever. I wonder what she will look like and when the day comes if she will recognize our family. I am sure of it after reading the book, "Heaven is for Real". The book has opened my eyes up for the possibilities that await us there.
I guess what I didn't expect was that after 3 years the tears would still flow so easily. I just expect it to be like others that I have mourned for that the tears don't come anymore. But, this is different somehow. It is my granddaughter, someone much closer than and aunt, uncle, grandma, etc. It is my own blood.
I miss you Carleigh and it has gotten better knowing you are in an awesome place and doing better than us on earth. But, the date of your birth every year comes flooding back and the tears flow and I know that on this day Jesus and his Father look down on us and are there with us to help us get through another year. I love you more than you ever knew..And my work on earth is not done, I strive to be the best God wants me to be so I can see you someday. Watch over us when you can and show us signs that you are with us when you can. I love you !!!!!!!!!
3, a number here on earth, but nothing when you have the glory of God everyday.

Posting

Wow!!! I can't believe it has been so long since I posted, but, I have been busy watching my granddaughters and spending time with my other granddaughters when they come up here to spend time with us. At this time in my life it is more important to take the time to be with them than anything else. As I have learned from getting older they grow way to fast and don't want to lose any precious time the second time around.
There will always be another day, always more weeds, more dishes, more floors to mop. You get the picture. but there is only 1 unique granddaughter at a time to enjoy and let them know that their grandmother took the time to be with them and love and nurture them, make life fun for them. I hope when I leave this earth someday they can all look back and reflect about me and have nothing but great, awesome things to say about me. I am hoping I will leave them with something special unique to each of them.
